We are looking for a Credit Specialist (Temporary Position) to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in credit risk assessment while collaborating closely with multiple business units, stake holders and external partners.

As a Credit specialist, you will play an important role in supporting business growth and development by helping ensure that credit risks are understood, monitored, and managed effectively.

We are looking for someone who is analytical, curious, and eager to learn. You enjoy working with numbers and financial information, but you are equally comfortable communicating with stakeholders and supporting business decisions.

The Global trade risk team operates under the Treasury organization and consists of 4 team members. The Treasury function consists of 8 people, and you will be reporting to Global Trade Risk Manager.

Your main tasks will be:

• Monitor customer payments and follow up on collection activities and claims handling processes.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate risk mitigation structures that balance commercial opportunities with financial risk exposure.
• Support Sales and Business teams across the globe, helping to increase understanding of Billerud's credit risk policies, directives, processes, and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with the Trade Finance team to identify process-efficient and cost-effective solutions for mitigating credit risk through insurance products, guarantees, letters of credit, and other Trade Finance instruments.

• A degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• A fluent level in English, both written and spoken.
