We are now looking for a Master Data Specialist to join our Business Support team. The team plays a key role in ensuring that our systems, processes, and master data effectively support the business and enable efficient operations across Billerud.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining high-quality and well-governed business partner (customer and supplier) master data. You will process master data requests in accordance with established governance, processes, and business rules, while contributing to the ongoing development and enhancement of these areas.

Working closely with stakeholders across the organization, you will help maintain business rules, drive process improvements, and support end users with master data-related questions. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to data quality, consistency, and compliance across our business partner master data landscape.

Key tasks

  • Manage daily business partner master data requests according to agreed process, data quality standards and processing times. 
  • Support business with their master data questions and take ownership for end-to-end process and solutions to improve how master data is managed and used. 
  • Troubleshoot and find solutions for master data incidents, together with key stakeholders. 
  • Contribute to MDM projects and governance forums  
  • Develop and maintain business partner MDM rules, standards, workflows and work instructions. 
  • Ensure compliance with agreed governance, data validation and data standards. 
  • Use data and input from business stakeholders to prioritize the
  • MDM development backlog to maximise the business impact. 

Qualifications

Mandatory requirements

  • A university degree in a relevant field. 
  • Good understanding of master data management (governance, processes and data) and how master data is used in business processes. 
  • Solid experience managing customer and/or supplier master data. 
  • Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP. 
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken. 

Nice to have

  • Previous experience from an industrial or manufacturing environment. 
  • Swedish language skills are considered an advantage. 
  • Familiarity with MDM and/or workflow management tools.
